Accudrafters helps turn residential project ideas into coordinated designs and drawings for client review, estimating, and permit submission. You handle construction; we provide defined, project-based design and drafting support.
Published pricing
Fixed-fee project categories apply when the scope matches a published service. Contractor interviews, selection support, unusual coordination, and miscellaneous work are $115 per hour. There is no numerical limit on design revisions within the agreed scope before the client approves the design for working drawings. After that approval, client- or contractor-requested design changes are $115 per hour with a two-hour minimum. Additional fees are agreed with the client before work begins.

The discount recognizes the field information, design coordination, and project support provided by participating contractors. Eligibility is governed by the written project proposal.

The partner rate is earned through active participation. Participating contractors attend and assist with the measure-up, provide field information, return consolidated design redlines, and remain a resource for constructability, design coordination, and client decisions.
The discount reflects the time and coordination responsibilities assumed by the contractor. It does not reduce the quality, scope, or deliverables of Accudrafters' design and drafting services.
If the contractor's agreed participation is withdrawn and Accudrafters must assume those responsibilities, the project may be repriced at the applicable retail rate.
Final pricing, responsibilities, and deliverables are governed by the signed project proposal and written scope.

1. Define the project
Share the project location, existing plans, photographs, approximate dimensions, goals, and the preferred division of responsibilities. We establish the written scope and fee before work begins.
2. Develop and review the design
The contractor helps with field information, constructability input, and consolidated redlines when participating in the partner program. Authorized clients review design decisions before working drawings.
3. Prepare the agreed drawing package
Accudrafters develops coordinated drawings and integrates supplied engineering and consultant information within the unchanged agreed scope.
4. Support permit review
The client or contractor submits and tracks permits. Accudrafters addresses permit-body drawing redlines within the original scope through approval, subject to professional-credential requirements.

- The client or contractor hires and pays engineers, surveyors, soils specialists, civil engineers, septic designers, and specialty providers directly. Accudrafters can refer engineers but does not hire them or mark up engineering fees
- Preferred drawing milestones for estimating
- Timelines and current availability are discussed directly with each client. Accudrafters does not publish duration ranges or promise an exact timeline. Client availability and responsiveness, contractor redlines, engineering, other consultants, and jurisdiction review can affect progress and are outside Accudrafters' control.
Project-based drafting support
Outside residential drafting support when adding permanent staff does not make sense.
Contractors, remodelers, and builders can use Accudrafters as project-based outside drafting support for defined residential scopes. For firms that prefer to outsource drafting when workload or project complexity requires it, the process can include online design review, shared project files, coordinated plan development, and delivery of the agreed drawing package without adding an in-house drafting position.
Phone and email clarification of the drawings during construction is included in the fixed fee. Photographs, email, and phone conversations usually resolve questions without a site visit. When a site visit is required, it is $115 per hour with a four-hour minimum, with fees agreed before the visit. Construction supervision, inspections, and certification of contractor work are excluded.
Discussion of material or product substitutions is included. Resulting client- or contractor-requested drawing changes after design approval for working drawings are $115 per hour with a two-hour minimum, with fees agreed before work begins.
