Residential design and drafting for Central New Mexico
Project process

A defined path from initial information to delivered plans.

The written scope controls the work. Each stage is intended to keep design decisions, documents, and responsibilities understandable.

Included client tools

  • Online design-progress meetings
  • Formatted Google Sheet selection tool
  • Shared Dropbox project folder
  • Client-viewer access for 3D review

1. Initial consultation

Discuss the project, location, intended work, approximate area, schedule, existing documentation, and whether permit-review drawings are needed.

2. Written scope and pricing

Accudrafters defines included drawings, meetings, visualization, responsibilities, exclusions, payment schedule, and fixed fee or hourly work.

3. Existing information

Measure-up, photographs, sketches, surveys, older plans, HOA requirements, contractor notes, and other project inputs are assembled.

4. Design development

Plans and 3D views are reviewed online. Selections and project information are maintained in shared tools as the design develops.

5. Working drawings

The approved design is developed into the agreed plan package, including schedules, details, and coordination defined in the written scope.

6. Delivery and redlines

The PDF package is delivered for permit-review submission. Jurisdiction redlines within the original agreed scope are corrected without an added Accudrafters charge.

Completion for Accudrafters purposes

Completion means the agreed residential design and drafting scope has been completed and delivered to the point that the client, contractor, builder, or authorized representative can submit the Accudrafters-prepared plan set for permit review. It does not mean permit approval, engineering approval, contractor approval, construction completion, appraisal acceptance, or any third-party outcome.
