Privacy Policy
How Accudrafters handles inquiry information, project files, sharing, private archives, photographs, analytics, and third-party services.
Effective October 9, 2026
Information you provide
Accudrafters of America collects information you choose to provide through project inquiries, the Project Starter Checklist, email, phone conversations, and project coordination. This may include your name, email address, phone number, project address, project goals, budget or scheduling information, photographs, sketches, drawings, surveys, selections, and correspondence.
Provide information relevant to your inquiry or project. Please do not send passwords, Social Security numbers, or payment-card details through an inquiry form or project folder.
How information is used
Client contact information is used to respond to inquiries and manage projects. Accudrafters does not use it for newsletters or promotional follow-ups, sell or rent it, or share it for another business’s marketing. Project records support design and drafting, coordination, agreements, billing, and historical reference.
Project storage, sharing, and security
Project files are stored on Jim Lynch’s password- or PIN-protected computer and in Dropbox. Google Sheets is used for project selections. Dropbox folders are normally shared with Jim, the client, and the client’s contractor. Shared folders and selection sheets are restricted to invited people rather than open to anyone with a link.
Jim uses two-factor authentication on the Dropbox and Google accounts holding client information. These are the confirmed safeguards for Accudrafters’ workflow; they are not a guarantee that electronic storage or transmission can never be compromised. Service providers process information under their own policies and may have access as described there.
Archives and requests to remove shared access
Accudrafters retains historical project records, including records dating back to 2008. No automatic project-file deletion date is promised.
To request removal of shared access, contact [email protected]. Accudrafters will remove shared access within two business days and retain a private archival copy accessible only to Jim. This is removal of shared access, not complete deletion of the project archive. Retained records may be needed for taxes, contractual obligations, or resolving disputes.
Removing shared access does not erase copies already downloaded or independently retained by a client, contractor, or another recipient. Requests concerning a provider’s separate records are also subject to that provider’s procedures.
Portfolio photographs, drawings, and reviews
Jim obtains permission to take project photographs. Permission to take a photograph is distinct from permission to publish it. If a client objects to a project photograph used on the Accudrafters website, Accudrafters will remove that photograph upon request.
Accudrafters may display its drawings and renderings in its portfolio and does not offer removal of those displays solely because a client objects. Portfolio displays omit client names and property addresses. A reviewer’s name may accompany a review; the actual property address remains excluded.
Send photograph-removal requests or reports of inadvertently displayed identifying information to [email protected].
Website measurement and technical information
The website uses Google Analytics to measure visits and interactions, including clicks on phone, email, and inquiry links and checklist submission attempts. Analytics and site-delivery providers may process technical information such as browser and device details, visited pages, referral information, and network information. Google Analytics uses cookies. You can manage cookies through your browser and review Google’s cookie information.
The site is hosted through IONOS and uses Cloudflare for delivery and related site services. Hosting, security, and analytics services may process request logs and technical information under their own policies. Opening an external form, payment service, or social-media link takes you to that provider’s service.
